“SKY IS THE LIMIT”

Robert Frost the famous English poet has said in his poem

“The woods are lovely dark and deep

But I have many promises to keep

And miles to go before I sleep

And miles to go before I sleep”

These lines show the performance of nature. The beauty of a spectacular atmosphere delights mankind, but man has to fulfill his social commitments for the welfare of the people in the society. To shoulder the responsibility is the intent duty of a man till his death.

Mrs. Fathema Ismail, founder president of the organization FELLOWSHIP OF THE PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED had realized her duty towards the people who were victims of disability and she dedicated herself to the rehabilitation of the handicapped. The organization was in its infancy, but madam Fathema did not give up her efforts till she reached the target. Her dream became true when every drop of help converted into the ocean. Today after 56 years of establishment FPH is doing a remarkable job to help the handicapped enabling themselves to lead a life with courage.

FPH not only alleviates the sufferings of the person with a disability but also renders assistance to obtain their legitimate privilege. Handicapped are trained in various departments thereby the hope of the horizon is open for them. As a consequence of the effort by the staff of FPH, the disabled get job opportunities in private as well as in the public sector. The president and the members of the managing committee leave no stone unturned to extend additional feathers in the cap.

I am proud and happy to put before you this quarterly “LAKSHY” the GOAL which reflects the working of FPH. It is our generous Endeavour to expose the success of the handicapped in their day-to-day life. I express my humble gratitude towards the embers of the managing committee as well as the editorial board for their hard works to bring out this magazine in a short time.

Efforts shall be implemented all the time to achieve the GOAL to make a better life for the downtrodden and enhance their personality. Needless to say for these efforts sky is the limit.
